We reccomend using the front side of your board as your serving side and cutting on the back side whenever possible. This just helps keep one side looking nice while still being fully functional. We only reccomend handwashing your items with a mild soap, and then using an oil to recondition as needed (coconut oil, vitamin e oil, mineral oil, beeswax, etc)
